HOUSE OF ROT
Presented by Green Door Theatre Company in association with Hayes Theatre Co
Created by Dino Dimitriadis and Victoria Falconer
Beauty fades. Madness sings.
After a critically acclaimed premiere season, HOUSE OF ROT is back.
Paul Capsis and Adam Noviello return to the Hayes in a deranging, electric collision of cabaret, music and theatrical madness. Inspired (loosely, dangerously) by the cult documentary Grey Gardens, HOUSE OF ROT finds two glorious creatures inside a collapsing world. Created by Dino Dimitriadis and Victoria Falconer, original compositions collide with songs you thought you knew, pulled apart and put back together in strange new forms.
Part unholy communion. Part elegy in heels. A love letter to survival and the beautiful, terrible things we refuse to let go of. Because maybe there’s a way to live inside collapse.
