Meet. Mix. Make space.
This relaxed, empowering social event is an invitation to all women and non-binary people working in musical theatre — composers, music directors, orchestrators, arrangers, copyists, rehearsal pianists, and other music makers — to come together, connect, and celebrate each other’s work.
Hosted in the Hayes foyer, the Maestra Connect Session is more than just a mixer — it’s a chance to find community, share stories, spark collaborations, and be reminded that you’re not alone in this industry. Whether you’re just starting out or already deeply embedded in your craft, this is a space where conversations happen, ideas flow, and networks grow.
Maestra is a global organisation working to support and elevate women and non-binary musicians in theatre through visibility, education, and community. From mentorship programs to technical workshops and advocacy, Maestra’s mission is to break down systemic barriers and champion equality in the music theatre space.
There’s no entry fee — just show up, grab a drink, and start connecting.
Let’s build the future together, one conversation at a time.
