Group Bookings
Please contact the Box Office for group bookings of more than 8 people.

Where concessions are offered these apply to Seniors, Pensioners, Students and MEAA members. Not all productions or performances will have concession price tickets available.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may be purchased over the phone or online and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash and must be used prior to the expiration date. Click HERE to book online.

Transaction Fees
All phone and online bookings are subject to a transaction fee of $2.00.

Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase except as provided for in the Live Performance Association code of ticketing practice. To view a copy of the code go to www.liveperformance.com.au/ticketing_code_practice.

Ticket Exchanges
Where available, tickets may be exchanged once to a performance of equal value, not later than 48 hours prior to the booked performance. Exchanges to performances of a higher value will incur an upgrade fee. Second and late exchanges will be subject to a $5.00 exchange fee.

A limited number of accessible seats are available in the front row of the theatre. Please contact the box office on 02 8065 7337 to purchase accessible seating (subject to availability).

A lift operates between from the theatre entrance to the foyer and entry to the auditorium is via the side door located off the balcony for those who have difficulty managing stairs. Please speak to the FOH Manager upon arrival at your performance to arrange access.

The Theatre

The auditorium is accessed via a single door from the theatre foyer with 12 steps from the foyer to the back of the auditorium. The theatre seats 111 people in rows A – H with seats numbered 1-15 and a central aisle between seats 8 and 9. There are no viewing obstructions anywhere within the auditorium and all seats are priced at the same reserve.

Rows G and H are slightly raised to provide for better sightlines over the rows in front. Foot rests are provided for your comfort in these rows.

Contract Roles

‘At the Hayes’ Podcast Producer 

At The Hayes is a monthly podcast which features a longform interview with one notable theatre industry figure on each episode. Most of the guests have some association with the Hayes – they have performed in or been a creative on a show there – but also have a wider standing and reputation in the industry as a whole. The interviews are informal, taking the form of conversations rather than question-and-answer sessions.

There is potential for expanding the scope of interviewees more widely – in the past, award-winning international composers Alan Menken and Jeanine Tessori have both agreed to shorter phone interviews for the podcast when their shows were being performed at the Hayes.

The producer will ideally both interview the guests, and edit the interviews for the podcast release, framing them with a short introduction and endpiece.

Mulitple back-episodes are available on iTunes for applicants to listen to as a reference for the content and style of the podcast.

Production Manager

We are seeking Production Managers for our production of EVIE MAY A TIVOLI STORY.

The production dates are from late September – early November 2018.

Working closely with the Production Producer and venue Technical Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating all physical aspects of the production including, but not limited to, set construction, props sourcing, bump-in/out schedules, returns and budget management.

The ideal candidates will have a minimum 3 years experience working in production management and/or senior stage management roles with a well-developed network of contacts within the theatre industry.
