Group Bookings
Please contact the Box Office for group bookings of more than 8 people.

Concessions
Where concessions are offered these apply to Seniors, Pensioners, Students and MEAA members. Not all productions or performances will have concession price tickets available.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may be purchased over the phone or online and are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers may not be redeemed for cash and must be used prior to the expiration date. Click HERE to book online.

Transaction Fees
All phone and online bookings are subject to a transaction fee of $2.00.

Refunds
Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase except as provided for in the Live Performance Association code of ticketing practice. To view a copy of the code go to www.liveperformance.com.au/ticketing_code_practice.

Ticket Resales
In accordance with the NSW Fair Trading Amendment (Ticket Scalping and Gift Cards) Act 2017 No 52, tickets may not be offered for resale at greater than 110% of the original supply cost of the ticket. We reserve the right to cancel tickets resold for more than 110% of the original supply cost. Purchasers are advised not to purchase tickets from resale sites.

Ticket Exchanges
Where available, tickets may be exchanged once to a performance of equal value, not later than 48 hours prior to the booked performance. Exchanges to performances of a higher value will incur an upgrade fee. Second and late exchanges will be subject to a $5.00 exchange fee.

Accessibility
A limited number of accessible seats are available in the front row of the theatre. Please contact the box office on 02 8065 7337 to purchase accessible seating (subject to availability).

A lift operates between from the theatre entrance to the foyer and entry to the auditorium is via the side door located off the balcony for those who have difficulty managing stairs. Please speak to the FOH Manager upon arrival at your performance to arrange access.

The Theatre

The auditorium is accessed via a single door from the theatre foyer with 12 steps from the foyer to the back of the auditorium. The theatre seats 111 people in rows A – H with seats numbered 1-15 and a central aisle between seats 8 and 9. There are no viewing obstructions anywhere within the auditorium and all seats are priced at the same reserve.

Rows G and H are slightly raised to provide for better sightlines over the rows in front. Foot rests are provided for your comfort in these rows.

General Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Hayes Theatre Co in a leadership role.

Reporting to the Board and leading a team of 5, the General Manager is responsible for Hayes’s strategy and operations. The priorities for the role include:

  • maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and raising its profile;
  • understanding and engaging audiences and extending audience reach;
  • successfully delivering the program and managing the venue;
  • ensuring the continued financial sustainability and growth of the company;
  • marketing the company and driving fundraising;
  • delivering accurate and timely forecasting, reporting & analytics;
  • leading and motivating a team, and
  • effectively managing Hayes’s diverse stakeholder group.

The ideal GM will have experience in the performing arts. She or he may be a GM of another theatre company or venue, or a 2IC ready to step into a lead role. Alternate backgrounds include having worked as a company manager or associate producer. Experience working with all levels of government would be an advantage. Complementary commercial sector experience would also be well-regarded. A strength in finance and marketing, and a passion for and interest in musical theatre, are necessary.
