Applications open NOW – Please apply HERE
Applications close 30th January 2020
In 2020 we are introducing a new talent escalation program that will pair emerging designers and directors with creative mentors on each Hayes Theatre Co production as part of a paid internship program.
The program is open to applicants with industry qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
Applicants can apply for positions assisting the Director, Musical Director, Choreographer or a Designer (Set/Costume, Lighting, Sound). Successful candidates will work in a paid and credited role on each production and receive vocational training from Hayes staff and the relevant department head.
Applications are being accepted for our three Hayes-Produced shows in 2020.
Applicants must have availability throughout rehearsals and production week for one of the following sessions:
1. Dubbo Championship Wrestling 4th May – 4th June 2020
2. The Sovereign Wife 13th July – 12th August 2020
3. Young Frankenstein 13th October – 11th November 2020
Please note these dates are subject to change depending on the schedule of the attached creative. (i.e. designers will be needed for meetings much earlier than the given start date)
First nations, culturally and linguistically diverse, people with disability and LGBTQI applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
This program has been made possible by The Russell Mills Foundation.
