An Evening With: The Music of Dolly Parton
Presented by Hayes Theatre Co
An unforgettable evening of song, storytelling, and celebration – all in support of Hayes Theatre Co.
You’re invited to our most exclusive night of the year, where some of Australia’s extraordinary performers come together to honour the music and the legacy of Dolly Parton; the songwriter, the storyteller, the icon who has captured hearts around the world. With unforgettable songs like ‘Jolene,’ ‘9 to 5,’ and ‘I Will Always Love You,’ this promises to be a never-to-be-repeated night of pure magic led by beloved Hayes artists Brittanie Shipway and Nick Gentile, the creative minds behind this year’s sell-out spectacular Barbra: The Greatest Star.
Starring a line-up of extraordinary performers, we are joined by Erin Clare (9 to 5 the Musical, We Will Rock You), Abigail Dixon (Titanique, Grease), Keanu Gonzalez (Annie, Grease, Hamilton), Casey Donovan (Sister Act, & Juliet) Googoorewon Knox (Hamilton, Black Snow), Georgia Laga’aia (Dear Evan Hansen, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Tana Laga’aia (Jesus Christ Superstar, RENT), Lorinda May Merrypor (Six the Musical, Once on This Island), Laura Murphy (Whispering Jack, Zombie! The Musical, The Lovers) and Sarah Murr (Six the Musical, Hadestown, The Pirates of Penzance).
An Evening With: The Music of Dolly Parton is an exclusive fundraising event for Hayes Theatre Co. Funds raised support Hayes to create new Australian work, deliver our Festival of New Work involving over 100 artists, platform artistic excellence, and continue to bring exciting music theatre and cabaret experiences to our audiences.
Accompanied by a live band led by Nick Gentile, we bring you the best that Australian music theatre has to offer, helping us raise much-needed funds to continue creating exceptional productions.
The price of each ticket includes exclusive access to an intimate world-class performance, sumptuous canapés, fine champagne, a sweet treat to complete the evening, plus a $160 tax-deductible donation to support the work of Hayes Theatre Co.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary night, where each note is a celebration, and every sip of champagne is a toast to the future of Australian theatre.
